Had a great trip with Capt. Rick. He was very knowledgeable and put us on a bunch of spots that produced spotted bass during the heat of summer. He knew exactly the spot on the spot. He was dialed in on the structure and put us on fish or quickly moved us to a new spot where the fish were more cooperative. His boat was fantastic for a family fishing expedition.

Great fishing trip. Took my two young sons out with Capt Rick on Tablerock lake for a guided fishing trip and we had a blast. Rick was very knowledgeable about the lake and knew exactly where to go to find bass. He taught us all, and especially my sons, exactly what to do to successfully catch a bunch of fish. He was super nice and fun and professional. He took care of everything and all we had to do was reel them in. Highly recommended!!

Incredible Fishing Experience. We had the opportunity to go on a trip last week with Captain Aaron of Captain Rick’s Fishing Guide Service! It was myself and two children. What a great experience. Aaron was patient, friendly and courteous the entire trip. Aaron was extremely positive and offered a lot of really great instructional tips for the kids. He was a fantastic teacher. He told us he has three main goals for every trip: To teach us how to be safe, have fun, catch fish. We did all three. He put us on a ton of fish. Think we caught around 80 total on the day. The kids absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend a trip with Captain Rick or Captain Aaron for families, kids or even the avid fisherman. You won’t be disappointed.

Spent day with Capt Aaron hunting bass, besides a beautiful time on water we caught a lot of bass and had a ton of fun.

Aaron is an excellent guide and host. His passion and knowledge of his profession shines through. We gained knowledge of the lake and fish patterns, so much more than just putting us on fish.

Aaron was awesome! We stayed catching fish and he was very attentive. We got to catch 3 different species that we do not have where we live. It was a lot of fun and I HIGHLY recommend their guide service!

We contacted Rick on the recommendation of my partner who has hired him many times over the years as a fishing guide for his boys. We have only had the opportunity to get to Table Rock lake once and our experience was fantastic. He was very friendly, a great teacher for my two young boys-which was their first time bass fishing. I would recommend him highly. We definitely plan on returning in the near future.

Fished with Capt Aaron on Table Rock Lake. Better than I could have hoped for! Aaron put us on great spots all morning, showed us exactly what we needed to do, provided great tackle, lures, and live bait. I have fished many guides from the gulf coast to MO to KY Lake and Aaron was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Everything you would want in a fishing guide, and Table Rock is a premier fishing lake. This made the vacation! Thanks!!

I, like most people, hired Rick from something I read online. I have had good and bad experience with guide services in the past, but after my first trip with Rick, I finally enjoyed myself. Rick can fish with the best of them, and helped me take my fishing to a new level. On several of my trips I brought along a good friend of mine that has Parkinson’s. He turned me loose on the trolling motor and helped him… it’s because of his ability to realize “what’s truly important” that keeps me coming back. It’s nice to catch fish, but a trip can’t always be judged by the expectations we put on it… One of the best instructional fishing trips we had involved the lake up so high we launched the boat from the parking lot, fished for 9 hours, and didn’t catch a fish… I don’t recall if either of us even got bit! I just wish he would get a new ring tone… But then again… unpopular guides probably don’t have to worry about their phones ringing.

We could not have selected a better fishing guide than Capt. Rick LaPoint for our Table Rock Lake fishing trip. My wife, 11-year old son and I had an excellent time fishing with Rick. He kept us safe on a tough weather day while still catching many nice 'keepers' of bass. I appreciated the time he took with my son and wife. I learned more than a few things with our day on the water. We will most definitely select Rick again when we return.
